  1. Hi,

I would like to know more about the writers group please like what level writers are at and if anyone can join etc

    Many thanks,

    Nina Springle

  2. Hi Sandi

This is a bit off brief but perhaps you might be able to help me? I am new to Melbourne and would like to take a creative writing course. Something a bit more relaxed, along the lines of pointing me in the right direction rather than an intensive short course with the promise of a book and film deal at the end of it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks Niall

  3. Hello! Thank you for being a part of our The Hillscene magazine! Adriana and I would love to come in for one of your meetings. When is your next one (early Feb?). My email address is rachel@swiftsupport,.com.au. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  4. Hi Sandi,

I was recently recommended to get in touch with you by a member of your club (Louisa Deasey). I am a photographic artist looking to collaborate with writers on a fun new photo-literary concept I’ve titled ‘Picture 1000 Words’ (see link below for more info).

I think this project will directly interest yourself and members of your group (I’m really not trying to spam you!) and I’m currently trying to get the word out to as many writers as I can. I’d love to get your thoughts on the project. Perhaps I could come to one of your meetings to chat about it?

    Best Regards

    Cam.

  5. Good Day Sandi,

I would be interested in joining in the Writers Club. Can you please confirm venue and times if the club is still going.

  6. Hi Sandi,
I’d like to set up something similar in Dublin — would it be possible to pick your brain a little?
    Thanks,
    E.

  7. Hi,

I’m trying to translate my book into English; it has turned into a nightmare! Seems like the most elegant phrases and paragraphs would lose their sense when they are transferred to another language by a non-native. I was seeking for help with my writing in Melbourne when I came across this page. I was wondering if this is still going on. And if not, would you mind guiding me where to get help? Thanks a lot.

    1. Hi Kintamar,

There’s no need to become a member – you’re more than welcome to just turn up to our meet ups. Hope to see you next month. You can follow our Facebook or Twitter Pages for updates.

  8. Hey hey, just found this group and am a bit devo that I missed the meeting last week, but I’m looking forward to coming along next month, I was a part of a writers’ club at uni in Adelaide but when I moved here in July I lost contact with them which sucked because I had a really good time and found being around other writers really got the creative juices flowing
I’ll definitely be at the next meeting.
    Peace, Taco.

  9. Greetings Sandi, I’m Tristen.
I moved here from London, England. I had a very tight writers group over there and I’ve been here almost a year now and would love to meet other writers. I’ve written three novels and a stack of short stories, music and film reviews over the years. I would totally love to be involved if there is room. I hope to hear back from you when you’ve got time.

    Kind regards,

    Tristen Deschain.

  10. Hi Sandi,

I found your Blog and the club as I was searching for something just like it! So glad you’ve put this together. Wish I knew about it earlier. Sounds like such a great idea. How do I become a part of this? My email address is phoebekuhn@hotmail.com
Looking forward to starting in the New Year! 🙂

    Kind Regards, Phoebe Kuhn
